Aimee Giese studied graphic design and photography 18 years ago in St. Augustine, Florida. Since then she has co-founded a web development and health communication research firm named Klein Buendel in Denver, which is dedicated to health issues that impact our daily lives. But on the side, photography has continued to be close to her heart, and she is happy to do portrait sessions for freelance clients. In addition to her full-time job, Aimee writes several blogs. She is a contributing editor for the Denver Post's Mile High Mama's parenting blog, the city expert for Denver Savvy Source, a Kirtsy editor and also maintains her personal blog, Greeblemonkey.
Aimee pursues her passion for life in her portraits as well as her photographs of nature close-ups and travel. She also explores her creativity in clay by making pottery. Both these hobbies are reflected in her Etsy store.
Aimee specializes in up-close and personal portraits, with in-home settings. She likes to capture the natural feel of people interacting with each other or the camera in natural light - but also will do studio lighting if indoor backdrops are preferred. Her love of macro seeps into her portraits as the photographs tend to be intimate, capturing un-planned moments, and many times focusing on FUN.
